Summary of Duties

The President of Tuality Healthcare provides strategic and operational leadership for Tuality Healthcare to provide high quality healthcare and patient and family services. With P&L responsibility for business units that generate $190M in net patient revenues, the President partners with physician leadership, community leaders, service line directors, OHSU Healthcare leadership, and other stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities for success, translate strategies into business plans, and guide implementation to achieve goals and objectives. The President leads a high-performance team to ensure quality remains high, while pursuing cost-effective strategies to increase services and census. He/She has oversight for 1100 FTEs and an expense budget totaling $195M.

With strong roots in the community, a dedicated staff, and 100 years of history in Hillsboro, Tuality Healthcare plan an integral role in the health and wellness of western Washington County, and strives to be the health system of choice for the region.  The President is a key representative of the organization on local boards and committees, and attends and delivers presentations at community events in an effort to further strengthen Tuality Healthcare's bond with its neighbors.


Hiring Competencies

  • Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience overseeing community based acute and ambulatory care operations.
  • Experience in an integrated care delivery system.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational performance improvement.
  • Progressive experience to an executive level, with at least five years with full P&L responsibility for at least $150M in net patient revenues.
