Summary of Duties

The HR Engagement Specialist supports the Talent Acquisition team within Tuality’s Human Resources department in a variety of functions that provides an exceptional experience for both prospective candidates as well as new hire employees throughout their entire onboarding process.  

 

These functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates, monitors and communicates information related to the entire new hire on-boarding process.
  • Schedules new hires for their pre-employment health/drug screens, General Hospital Orientation, and General Clinical Orientation.
  • Enters all new hire data into the HRIS system, and assists in documentation within the applicant tracking system.
  • Assists the Talent Acquisition team with researching advertisement resources and posting of jobs.
  • Responsible for gathering all new hire documents, I-9’s, W-4’s, direct deposit, other related personnel forms, verifies I-9’s via the federal E-Verify process, assists in creating new hire security ID badges, and creates initial personnel files.
  • Coordinates the new hire survey process, and generates reports related to that data to help enhance the hiring and onboarding experience.
  • Partners with the other Talent Acquisition team members in hosting and facilitating the HR Welcome on new hire’s first day.
  • Assists HR department in ordering of office supplies and/or processing approval of HR related invoices.
  • Partners with other HR team member to assist with front desk coverage for the HR office’s walk-in traffic, phone calls to the main HR line, and issuing of replacement security ID badges.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Hiring Competencies

a)     Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field of study preferred. 

b)     License/Certification:  None required. PHR certification or interest in obtaining PHR a plus.

c)     3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources, supporting talent acquisition/recruiting/onboarding processes, or related field.  Interest in developing and expanding career path within Talent Acquisition/Recruiting preferred.

d)     Previous work history in delivering exceptional customer service required.

e)     Ability to deal with multiple priorities in fast-paced office in a calm and pleasant manner.

f)      Ability to multitask with excellent organization skills.

g)     Previous experience entering and accessing data in a complex database and/or HRIS system.

h)     Demonstrated PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for Windows.

i)      Computer network communication/calendar skills using MS Outlook & Internet products.

j)      Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

k)     Ability to work in highly confidential settings.

l)      Presents a professional first & lasting impression.

m)    Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills a plus.

2.       Physically Demanding Tasks: Job The job is mainly sedentary, however, may lift a box weighing 10-25 pounds on occasions.
