  • Summary of Duties

    Provides administrative support to THA operational areas and THA Medical Management.  Works independently in performing duties, communications, and project management, daily mail distribution scheduling and meeting arrangements.   Performs general clerical, communications, scheduling and meeting arrangement functions. The assistant is responsible for entering and updating Employee Health information in the computer system and maintaining the records for current and past employees. Other duties include filing and projects as assigned

    Hiring Competencies

    a.  Education: Equivalent experience of at least one-year clerical experience. Must have a minimum of a High School diploma.

    b.   License:  Not applicable.

    c.   Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.

    d.   Personal appearance makes a good first impression.

    e.   Possesses a basic knowledge of medical terminology.

    f.    Must have experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and intra-organizational communication programs, i.e. Microsoft Outlook.

    g.   Must have experience in dealing with highly confidential information.

    h.   Experience in a health related field preferred.

    i.    Demonstrates good grammar, spelling and basic math skills.

    j.    Ability to follow directions (written & verbal) and demonstrates effective communication skills.

    k.   High attention to detail with ability to handle multiple demands, in a fast-paced office, in a calm and professional manner.

    l.    Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team.

    m.  Bilingual skills a plus.
