  • Summary of Duties

    Provides administrative support to the Engineering & Biomed Manager as well as to the Operating Engineers.  Manages and provides technical support for TMSOnline work order system.  Maintains required documentation for Joint Commission Surveys.  Works independently in performing administrative duties.

    Hiring Competencies

    a)    Education: Minimum of three years clerical experience required.  Associates degree preferred.

    b)    License:  None required.

    c)    Experience working independently and is a self-starter.

    d)    Experience working in highly confidential settings.

    e)    Possesses excellent telephone skills and interpersonal communication abilities both verbal and written.

    f)     Demonstrates grammar, spelling abilities and ability to do basic mathematics.

    g)    Develops solutions for various problems utilizing problem-solving skills.

    h)    Operates a personal computer using Microsoft Office in a proficient manner.  Must be competent in the use of computerized word processing and spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Word, Excel) and electronic mail.

    i)     Operates office equipment, such as copy machine, calculator scanner and facsimile machine.

    j)     Types minimum of 55 words per minute preferred.

    k)    Communicates and follow directions (written and verbal) made in English.

    l)     Follows through on projects with attention to detail.

    m)   Deals with multiple demands in a fast-paced office in a calm and professional manner.

    n)    Presents a good first and lasting impression by personal appearance and interpersonal skills.

    o)    Current Oregon or Washington driver's license, be at least 21 years old with minimum of two years’ experience in the type of vehicle being driven. No more than one accident and two moving violations or two accidents and one moving violation or no accidents and three violations on or off the job within the past 36 months and no conviction for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), license suspension, auto felony conviction or other serious violations within the past 36 months.
