Talent Acquisition Partner
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality care to patients in our ambulatory urology clinic in accordance with individual needs, physician orders and standards of care, as represented through patient care policies. Must be able and willing to handle all front and back tasks within the clinic according to established procedures and protocols, as to provide a seamless experience for the patient. Duties could include (but are not limited to): greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, rooming patients, assisting doctors, triaging acute patient concerns, working within the EMR system, running lab controls, departing patients.
a) Certification: Required - Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assist (RMA) by American Medical Technologies or certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcare Association or certification as a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA/NCCT) by National Center for Competency Testing.
b) License: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS preferred upon hire, and required within 90 days of hire. If not American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certified upon hire, must have current BLS certification through another provider. ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire..
c) Prefer applicants with at least one year experience working in an ambulatory urology clinic.
d) Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.
e) Uses a problem solving process to make decisions related to patient care.
f) Demonstrates proper appearance and personal conduct for the employee's particular job.
g) Uses effective communication skills taking into consideration body language, filters, listening, paraphrasing and questions with customers of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
h) Demonstrates organizational skills.
i) Demonstrates good customer service skills.
j) Demonstrates effective written communication skills with proper grammar and spelling abilities.
k) Utilizes effective conflict resolution skills.
