  • Summary of Duties

    Under the supervision of the Learning and Organizational Development Manager, provides departmental support for the Tuality Health Education Center (THEC), Clinical Education. Maintains room and class registration software; completes class registration and room scheduling processes and paperwork; serves as front line in customer service (phone, voicemail, walk-ins) for department and visitors; provide audio-visual (AV) support and daily facility set-ups according to need; collects and maintains statistical information for department, and organizes activities and department  projects (including oversight of volunteers). Acts as a resource in collaboration with the Learning and Organizational Development Manager, and serves as the department liaison regarding the day to day operation of THEC and utilization of THEC kitchen.   

    Hiring Competencies

    a)     Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in applicable business field.

    b)     License:  BLS certification and Food Handlers permit required within first 90 days.

    c)     Minimum of three years clerical/office/ bookkeeping experience required.

    d)     Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

    e)     Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel including basic graphing functions, Access, and PowerPoint).

    f)      Experience using database software and management.

    g)     Ability to accurately type 50 WPM using proficient grammar, writing and spelling.

    h)     Ability to use critical thinking and solution based approach to creative problem solving.

    i)      Ability to work both independently as well as a function as a contributing, cooperative member of team.

    j)      Works independently, initiating tasks, prioritizing and balancing work load in fast pace, interruptive atmosphere.

    k)     Must be willing to work flexible hours, including minimal Saturday and evening when additional coverage is needed.

    l)      Proper professional dress attire required.

    m)    Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
