  • Summary of Duties

    Provides administrative support to the Director and Medical Director of Tuality Health Alliance/Tuality Health Plan Services. Works independently in performing projects, time scheduling and coordination, communications coordination between parties, and general support duties as needed.  Works closely with other Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants to assure seamless customer service and coordination of administrative activities.  Provides general clerical support to THA/THPS departments including data entry, filing, mail/email correspondence, credentialing support, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, photocopying, and special projects as assigned.  Work closely with other THA/THPS operational areas to support program initiatives.

    Hiring Competencies

    a)     Education: Bachelor degree in Business Administration preferred.

    b)     3+ years of Executive-level administrative assistant or office manager experience required.

    c)     2+ years healthcare experience a plus.

    d)     License:  None required, Administrative Professionals certification preferred.

    e)     Experience in working in highly confidential settings.

    f)      Possesses excellent telephone skills and interpersonal communications abilities.

    g)     Demonstrates excellent grammar, spelling, writing and mathematical skills.  Numerical ability is necessary to prepare statistical reports of findings.

    h)     Develops solutions for various problems utilizing problem-solving skills.

    i)      Professional personal appearance makes a good first impression.

    j)      Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.

    k)     Excellent project management skills.

    l)      Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to do executive level calendaring.

    m)    Deals in a positive manner with all staff members, leadership team members, and a variety of visitors.

    n)     Types with accuracy as necessary, from taped dictation, voice mail and hand written originals. 

    o)     Types a minimum of 65 words per minute.

    p)     Works under pressure with many interruptions.

    q)     Communicates and follows directions (written and verbal).

    r)      Bilingual skills a plus.
