  • Summary of Duties

    Tours campus grounds to ensure cleanliness of grounds and entrances, including windows, stairwells, parking structure, etc; completes special projects or requests as needed; checks for maintenance issues and repairs or reports as necessary; provides exceptional customer service to all individuals encountered in the Health & Education District.  Completes or assists with other duties as assigned.

    • Preferred:
      • High school graduate or G.E.D.

    Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Required:
      • Ability to demonstrate proficiencies in the use of all basic tools related to cleaning and/or general maintenance and gardening.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
      • Exhibits strong collaborative skills in daily interactions and decision making.
      • Demonstrates excellent customer service.
      • Demonstrates effective communication skills – body language, filters, listening, paraphrasing and questions; ability to listen to customers (e.g. patients, students, staff, etc.) and to understand and respond positively to their requests.
      • Demonstrates superior organization, prioritization, self-motivation, and problem resolution skills.
      • Ability to work without close supervision and to set one's own priorities.
      • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
      • Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods of time.
    • Preferred:
      • Bilingual skills a plus.
