  • POSITION SUMMARY

    Clinical Social Worker Lead is responsible for providing clinical social work services and clinical supervision of Clinical Social Work Associates (CSWA) toward full LCSW licensure. Ensures that resources are utilized effectively. Develops and implements a SW quality management program, PCMH, Outpatient Therapy, IMPACT/SUD, and Grief therapy. Train staff on psychiatric evaluations and therapy modalities. Maintains systems which ensure appropriate utilization of resources and services. Attends administrative meetings and ensures social workers/CSWA’s have necessary and updated information. Provides orientation to new social workers/CSWA’s and provides annual performance development summaries to LCSW Manager on each core and per diem staff member.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

    • Required:
      • Valid licensure by the state of Oregon for Clinical Social Worker.
    • Preferred:
      • Clinical Supervision Certificate.
      • CADCII and willingness to complete CADC III within two (2) years of hire (not required).

    Experience:

    • Required:
      • Possesses at least five (5) years experience providing treatment services. Within those five years, must include individual and group therapy to the adult population for at least two (2) years.
    • Preferred:
      • Prior experience supervising staff highly preferred.

    Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Required:
      • Demonstrates effective communication skills-body language, filters, listening, paraphrasing, and questions.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Presents self professionally in appearance and interpersonal skills.
      • Demonstrates understanding of professional and ethical behaviors.
      • Demonstrates skills in problem solving and productively addresses problem situations encountered.
      • Demonstrates knowledge of resources and services for the corresponding lifecycle of behavioral health population.
      • Utilizes PC skills to communicate.
    • Preferred:
      • Bilingual skills a plus.
