Assists with the nursing care of patients.  Provides comfort services and assistance with activities of daily living.



  • Required:
    • High school diploma or equivalent, and proof of diploma or transcript is required upon hire.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

  • Required:
    • CNA Level 2 Acute Care certification.
    • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS preferred upon hire, and required within 90 days of hire.   


  • Preferred:
    • Minimum six (6) months experience in skilled nursing facility or hospital.

Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Required:
    • Able to develop skills in use of computerized hospital information/ordering system.
    • Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
    • Utilizes effective communication skills taking into consideration body language, filters, listening, paraphrasing, and questions with customers of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
    • Functions effectively in stressful situations.
    • Demonstrates skills in caring for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in a knowledgeable, skillful and consistent manner.
    • Personal appearance makes a good first impression.
  • Preferred:
    • Bilingual skills a plus.
