Pay range: $19.26/hr - $26.37/hr
Assures that necessary supplies and equipment are available to nursing care areas when needed. Monitors various inventories and delivers supplies to users. Processes issues and credits for supplies to carts and other supply areas. |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
Performed majority of the time: |
· Process issues, receipts, credits and transfers to insure proper charging of supplies and inventory accuracy. · Uses of the Data Entry system to accurately upload orders in the personal computer to produce pick lists. · Inventories supply carts and other clinical areas. · Maintains records for tracking and charging of equipment under the department’s responsibility. · Prepares charges for Information Systems. · Supplies clinical areas per shopping guides established par levels or on a STAT basis as requested. · Stock storeroom shelves as needed and assists in stickering patient chargeable items. · Restocks supply carts in each unit per “PAR” list. · Delivers supplies as specified to warehouse or other locations as directed. · Maintains a safe and clean working environment. · Functions as a cooperative, flexible team member in a positive manner utilizing good communication and interpersonal skills. |
Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job: |
· Participates in temporary assignments as directed. |
