Pay range: $22.87/hr - $31.80/hr plus $2.50/hr night shift differential
Observation Unit Description:
The Observation unit is 9 patient unit dedicated to efficient care of patients from the Emergency Department who do not meet inpatient admission status. These patients often require further diagnostic workup and monitoring prior to discharge and are cared for by nurses and an advanced practice provider in conjunction with the Emergency Medicine Attending Physician. This interdisciplinary, family-centered care treats patients 18 years or older, and determines ongoing monitoring, needs and care under the observation patient classification for 6-48 hours duration.
Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with the nursing care of patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Provides comfort services and assistance with activities of daily living. Contributes to a positive work environment that promotes HMC values.
